Truck component maker Accuride Corp. said it has acquired Camden, S.C.-based wheel maker Forgitron Technologies. Terms were not disclosed.
Evansville, Ind.-based Accuride said Monday it has taken over Forgitron’s 80,000-square-foot aluminum wheel plant in Camden and plans to convert it to an aluminum wheels facility.
Forgitron was a portfolio company of Wellesley Hills, Mass., private equity firm Kamylon Capital.
