Express-1 Expedited Solutions’ second-quarter profit rose to $1.7 million, or 5 cents per share, from $811,000, or 3 cents, a year ago.
Revenue jumped 70% to $44.4 million, the company said Monday.
Revenue more than doubled at its Bounce Logistics unit, while rising 45.6% at its Express-1 unit and 85.1% at the Concert Group Logistics unit.
Express-1 Expedited Solutions is a non-asset based transportation company that operates through its Express-1, Concert Group Logistics, Express-1 Dedicated and Bounce Logistics units.
