FedEx Corp. said Tuesday its FedEx Freight Canada unit has improved transit times on hundreds of cross-border routes between the United States and Canada.
The specific routes run between Toronto or Montreal and cities throughout the U.S., FedEx said.
â€œIn addition to these transit improvements, we have expanded our service center network in Canada in recent months and streamlined processes for customs clearance,â€� said William Logue, president of FedEx Freight Corp.
The carrier also added two facilities in the Toronto area.
FedEx Corp. is ranked No. 2 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
