PHOENIX — Mack Trucks Inc. and Michelin North America will continue their support of the “Share the Road highway safety education program in 2011, company officials announced.

Michael McNally, Mack’s vice president of sales, and Marcus Williams, Michelin’s vice president of national accounts and government sales, made the announcement here at American Trucking Associations’ Management Conference Exhibition.

McNally said Mack will be providing a new 2011 Mack Pinnacle tractor for the program, which introduces “life-saving information about how to safely drive around large trucks — information that is surprisingly unfamiliar to many.

Williams told those attending MCE that “respect for people is a core value at Michelin, and sharing the road safely “is the ultimate form of respect.
