Webcast: Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee (MCSAC) and Medical Review Board (MRB) joint meeting

Welcome to the website of the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier
Safety Administration (FMCSA), Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee (MCSAC).
The MCSAC was established by the Secretary of Transportation on September 8, 2006,
and is charged with providing advice and recommendations to the FMCSA Administrator
on motor carrier safety programs and motor carrier safety regulations. The Secretary
renewed the charter of the MCSAC on November 19, 2010.

The MCSAC membership is balanced and is comprised of nineteen experts from the motor
carrier industry, safety advocates, and safety enforcement sectors.

The members are appointed by the Administrator and serve two year terms and were
chosen from a field of many qualified candidates who possess a wide range of motor
carrier experience and expertise.
